Job summary

The role requires at least 2 years in purchasing, knowledge of incoterms, and familiarity with Oracle NetSuite is a plus. You will work with logistics and finance to optimize sourcing, negotiate favorable terms, and support ad-hoc

Qualifications

• Min Nitec or Secondary School GCE O-Level or equivalent.
• At least 2 years purchasing or related experience.
• Knowledge of incoterms.
• Oracle NetSuite knowledge is an added advantage.
• Preference for overseas shipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vendor profiles and forward them for supervisor review.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and related documents per policies.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with specs, packaging, labeling, and loading.
• Collaborate with logistics to update product specs, packaging, labeling and loading requirements and submit for review.
• Coordinate with Finance to facilitate supplier payments.
• Submit documents/reports accurately and timely to relevant departments and superiors.
• Identify new suppliers locally, submit recommendations, and negotiate favorable terms.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
