SINGAPORE SALVAGE ENGINEERS PTE LTD is seeking a proactive Purchaser to support our maritime procurement operations in Singapore. You will generate purchase orders, source suppliers, compare quotations and negotiate best prices while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires good communication, solid analytical/problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MS Office; experience with procurement software is a plus. Knowledge of shipping is advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in Supply Chain/Purchasing Management or equivalent.
• Experience as a purchaser or buyer, preferably maritime sector.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities; good MS Office skills.

Aufgaben

• Generate Purchase Orders and maintain purchasing records filing system.
• Source vendors and evaluate quotations.
• Negotiate with suppliers and coordinate with cross-functional teams for best price.
• Coordinate with departments on stock availability and delivery schedules; maintain tight inventory control.
• Involve in planning, sourcing and recommending materials from locals and overseas.
• Carry out ad-hoc assignments as instructed by Management.
