Job summary

FOCAL SEARCH PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a procurement professional to manage the full procurement cycle and support business requirements.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor’s in SCM or related field with at least 2 years of procurement experience. Experience in marine/offshore sectors is a plus and a 5‑day work week applies, with a hybrid setup after confirmation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in SCM, Business Admin, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience in marine, offshore, shipyard, engineering, or technical services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full procurement cycle: supplier sourcing, RFQ, evaluation, price negotiation, PO processing and delivery follow-up.
• Procure materials, equipment and services to meet business requirements.
• Monitor purchase orders and supplier performance; address delays, quality concerns and commercial issues.
• Identify, evaluate and develop suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery performance, reliability and value.
• Support supplier onboarding, vendor master data maintenance and regular supplier performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure timely procurement support.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies, approval procedures and governance.
• Maintain procurement records in ERP; keep supporting documentation audit-ready.
• Assist with procurement reporting, KPI tracking and efficiency initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full procurement cycle, including supplier sourcing, RFQ issuance, quotation evaluation, price negotiation, purchase order processing and delivery follow-up.
• Procure materials, equipment and services to support business requirements.
• Monitor purchase orders and supplier performance, proactively addressing delivery delays, quality concerns and commercial issues.
• Identify, evaluate and develop suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery performance, reliability and overall commercial value.
• Support supplier onboarding, vendor master data maintenance and regular supplier performance evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with relevant teams to ensure timely and effective procurement support.
• Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, approval procedures and procurement governance requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records in the ERP system, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and audit-ready.
• Assist with procurement reporting, KPI tracking and initiatives aimed at improving procurement efficiency, cost effectiveness and processes.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Maritime Studies or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience in marine, offshore, shipyard, engineering or technical service industries will be an advantage
