Job summary

Focal Search Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to manage the full procurement cycle from supplier sourcing to delivery follow-up.

You will procure materials, monitor orders, negotiate prices, maintain ERP records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements. Hybrid work setup after confirmation; 2+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Maritime Studies or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage full procurement cycle: supplier sourcing, RFQ, evaluation, negotiation, PO processing and delivery follow-up.
• Procure materials, equipment and services to support business requirements.
• Monitor POs and supplier performance, address delays, quality concerns and commercial issues.
• Develop suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery, reliability and value.
• Support supplier onboarding, vendor master data maintenance and regular evaluations.
• Collaborate with teams to provide timely procurement support.
• Ensure all activities comply with policies, approvals and governance.
• Maintain procurement records in ERP and ensure audit readiness.
• Assist with procurement reporting, KPI tracking and process improvements.

Job description

• Manage the full procurement cycle, including supplier sourcing, RFQ issuance, quotation evaluation, price negotiation, purchase order processing and delivery follow-up.
• Procure materials, equipment and services to support business requirements.
• Monitor purchase orders and supplier performance, proactively addressing delivery delays, quality concerns and commercial issues.
• Identify, evaluate and develop suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery performance, reliability and overall commercial value.
• Support supplier onboarding, vendor master data maintenance and regular supplier performance evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with relevant teams to ensure timely and effective procurement support.
• Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, approval procedures and procurement governance requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records in the ERP system, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and audit-ready.
• Assist with procurement reporting, KPI tracking and initiatives aimed at improving procurement efficiency, cost effectiveness and processes.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Maritime Studies or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience in marine, offshore, shipyard, engineering or technical service industries will be an advantage
