Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Principal Application Specialist FMT APAC for its APAC sales organization, with focus on Singapore and Bangalore. Requires deep application expertise, consultative selling, and regional stakeholder engagement to influence decisions and support strategic opportunities.

The role emphasizes end-to-end workflow design, regulatory considerations, and lighthouse deployments, with significant travel across APAC and collaboration with Central Sales and BU stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering or related.
• PhD is an advantage.
• 7+ years in senior technical sales or workflow consulting.
• Experience handling high-value, complex opportunities.
• Strong knowledge across the portfolio and workflow design.
• Willingness to travel more than 50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue high-value, complex opportunities across APAC markets.
• Understand customer needs and emerging workflow opportunities.
• Design end-to-end workflows and advanced technical concepts addressing processes and requirements.
• Consider regulatory and process requirements when developing solutions.
• Support competitive differentiation for strategic opportunities.
• Develop value-based customer proposals with technical and market insights.
• Define technical/functional requirements for solution configuration with Central Sales.
• Provide input on pricing logic and deal structure.
• Identify market trends and inform product strategy.
• Support lighthouse customer applications and early adoption.
• Resolve escalated technical barriers.
• Transition successful solutions to Central Sales for broader market development.
• Provide technical input to BU stakeholders, Product Management, and Legal on contracts.
