Job summary

PBA Systems Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive Pre-sales Engineer to establish and manage pre-sales engineering engagements with customers. You will handle discussions, prepare proposals and quotations, and coordinate factory delivery commitments.

Based in Singapore, the role involves regional coverage including SG, US, EU, TW, CN, KR, occasional travel, and close collaboration with Engineering and R&D teams to present direct drive product solutions to customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a Sales Engineering role in semiconductor or precision engineering.
• Independent and self-directed learner able to work with minimal supervision.
• Team player with leadership and result-driven mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with clear articulation and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle pre-sales engagements, discuss proposals, prepare quotations, and track factory delivery commitments via CRM.
• Assist senior management to identify and develop opportunities to maximize business potential.
• Coordinate with internal Engineering or R&D teams on direct drive products solutions.
• Produce monthly engagement reports and track activities in the CRM system.
• Engage customers across SG, US, EU, TW, CN, KR with a customer-focused approach.
• Occasional business travel is expected.

Job Summary

The position is responsible to establish and handle the pre-sales related engineering engagement with customers and follow up on technical enquiries.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle potential business projects and participate in discussions, negotiations and closing of pre-sales enquires, covering all matters including proposal documentation, quotations and factory delivery commitments.
• Assist the senior management team to establish and develop opportunities to maximize business potentials.
• Liaise with internal Engineering or R&D department on direct drive products solutions.
• Reports and track monthly engagement reports and activities via CRM
• Customer focused engagement in regions including SG, US, EU, TW, CN, KR.
• Occasional business travel is expected.

Requirements

• Diploma and Fresh graduates in any Engineering discipline
• Minimum 1 year of work experience a Sales Engineering role in semiconductor, precision engineering industry
• A independent and Self-directed learner who is able to work under minimal supervision
• A team player, able to lead and result driven
• Possess good inter-personal and negotiation skills
• Good articulation and written communication skills
