Job summary

PBA Group is seeking a Sales Engineer to support pre-sales activities, develop opportunities and coordinate with Engineering/R&D on direct drive products. The role covers customer engagement across Singapore, US, EU, Taiwan, China and Korea, with occasional travel.

Ideal candidates are engineering diploma holders, fresh graduates or with 1 year in a Sales Engineering role in semiconductor or precision engineering, with strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any Engineering discipline; fresh graduates welcome.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a Sales Engineering role in semiconductor or precision engineering.
• Independent, self-directed learner able to work with minimal supervision.
• Team player with leadership potential and a results-driven mindset.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Strong articulation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle potential business projects and participate in discussions, negotiations and closing of pre-sales inquiries, including proposal documentation, quotations and factory delivery commitments.
• Assist senior management to establish and develop opportunities to maximize business potentials.
• Liaise with internal Engineering or R&D on direct drive product solutions.
• Report and track monthly engagement and activities via CRM.
• Engage customers across regions including SG, US, EU, TW, CN, KR.
• Occasional business travel is expected.
