Job summary

Hong Thai Travel Services (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to handle recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations in Singapore. The role includes benefits administration, payroll support coordination with Finance, policy updates, and government compliance.

Applicants should hold a Diploma in HRM, have near-term HR experience, and demonstrate strong communication and MS Office skills. Knowledge of Times Software is a plus; shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
• Preferably 3 years of relevant HR experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiar with Singapore Employment Act and Labour Law.
• Experience with Times Software is advantageous.
• Meticulous, patient and pleasant personality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and onboarding: post job openings, screen candidates, schedule interviews, onboarding, probation, confirmation, performance management, staff development, and lead new hire orientation.
• Employee relations: answer staff questions, mediate conflicts, and guide supervisors through performance management.
• Benefits and payroll support: assist with health benefits, long-service benefits, company insurance, leave administration, and collaborate with finance on payroll processing.
• Compliance and records: maintain accurate employee files in Times Software and physical files, and monitor adherence to labour laws.
• Policy implementation: update employee handbooks and roll out internal company policies.
• Primary contact with government authorities on HR matters, including grants, surveys and queries.
• Submission of claims for Government schemes, such as Profamily leave scheme
• Maintain staff confidentiality and exercise sound judgement when dealing with sensitive matters.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by management
