Job summary

SMARKET PTE. LTD. is seeking an HR Generalist to manage end-to-end HR activities in Singapore. You will handle recruitment, payroll, onboarding, and HR correspondence while ensuring accurate records and compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, payroll and HR correspondence.
• Ability to coordinate onboarding, probation and offboarding.
• Familiarity with statutory submissions and employee records.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination and offer preparation.
• Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, probation reviews and offboarding.
• Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, salary adjustment letters and other HR correspondence.
• Process monthly payroll and maintain accurate records of attendance, leave, overtime, allowances and deductions.
• Prepare and coordinate statutory submissions, including CPF contributions and employee income tax reporting.
• Handle work pass applications, renewals and cancellations, and maintain accurate records of pass validity and renewal deadlines.
• Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Administer employee benefits, insurance enrolment and related claims.
• Respond to employee enquiries on HR policies, payroll, leave and benefits.
• Support performance appraisals, training activities and employee engagement initiatives.
• Assist with employee relations matters, grievance handling and disciplinary documentation.
• Prepare HR reports covering headcount, turnover, recruitment progress and manpower costs.
• Support the implementation and improvement of HR policies and procedures in line with applicable Singapore employment requirements.
• Undertake other HR duties and projects as assigned.
