Job summary

Direct Search Asia Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes in a regional context. You will ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate documentation, and maintain accurate HR records within SAP SuccessFactors.

You will also support payroll coordination, benefits, and audits while driving global HR initiatives and process improvements across Singapore and the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment process through relevant government platforms while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities, including background screening, employment documentation, HR system updates, insurance enrolment and induction briefings.
• Administer employee processes such as promotions, performance improvement plans, transfers and departures.
• Plan and implement employee engagement initiatives under the guidance of the Regional HR Manager and Singapore Country Head.
• Gather employee feedback, identify recurring themes and provide practical recommendations to improve HR policies and the employee experience.
• Provide employees with HR guidance and operational support in accordance with Singapore employment legislation and company policies.
• Maintain accurate employee information in SAP SuccessFactors and ensure proper electronic filing of personnel and HR-related records.
• Prepare and issue employment-related documents.
• Coordinate international employee transfers, work pass applications and renewals, as well as expatriate travel arrangements.
• Complete statutory surveys, regulatory submissions, government reporting and claims.
• Support compensation and benefits administration, including payroll coordination, tax declarations and insurance renewals.
• Prepare HR documentation and provide supporting records for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate HR data collection and administrative activities for Singapore and the Philippines, as assigned.
• Participate in global HR programmes, process improvement initiatives and employee experience projects.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR procedures and improve operational efficiency.
• Support the implementation of new HR policies, systems and regional initiatives.
