Job summary

NATIONAL UNIVERSITY HEALTH SERVICES GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a patient services associate to register patients by phone and handle upfront enquiries, ensuring accurate information flow and smooth admissions.

You will collect payments, provide financial counselling for admissions and discharges, and liaise with the Bed Management Unit to secure beds for Emergency Medicine Department patients. You will also arrange SOC appointments and maintain orderly documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE N Levels with 1 year of working experience in customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to work morning, afternoon and overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong passion to serve the patients.

Responsibilities

• Register patients via phone and upfront enquiries.
• Collect payment/deposits and provide Financial Counselling for admissions and discharges.
• Liaise closely with Bed Management Unit for acquisition of beds for Emergency Medicine Department's (EMD) patients.
• Obtain Specialist Outpatient Clinic (SOC) appointments for Emergency Medicine Department's(EMD) patients.
• Sort documents in preparation for dispatch to Medical Records Office (MRO).
• Extend excellent customer service to patients and their relatives.
• Replenish inventory when stock is low.
