Job summary

Khoo Teck Puat Hospital is seeking a patient services assistant to support registration, appointment scheduling, billing and front-desk duties in our Specialist Outpatient Clinics. You will help ensure accurate patient information, assist doctors, and handle enquiries with a focus on PDPA compliance.

You will chaperone doctors, translate during consultations when needed, and support clinic readiness by maintaining records, assisting with procedures, and coordinating appointment changes.

Qualifications

• GCE N Level, ITE NITEC, ITE Higher Nitec, or Diploma.
• Positive attitude, initiative and willingness to learn.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Healthcare/clinic experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in registration, appointment booking and billing.
• Support clinic readiness and maintain inventory.
• Chaperone doctors and provide translation during consultations.
• Handle patient records and EMR data entry.
• Coordinate with departments to schedule surgeries and endoscopies.
• Respond to patient inquiries on services and billing.
• Ensure PDPA compliance and privacy of patient data.
