Job summary

PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore is inviting a Pastry Supervisor to oversee all pastry operations during service, reporting to the Pastry Chef.

You will ensure quality, manage line during service, train staff, handle guest feedback, and assist head pastry chef when needed. A Diploma in Pastry/Baking and at least 4 years of related experience are required; opportunities for training and career development are provided. Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Pastry/Baking or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of working experience in pastry/bakery operations.
• Executive level specialization in Pastry/Baking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and administer all phases of pastry/kitchen operations as directed by the Pastry Chef.
• Meet with chefs to review schedules, assignments and business levels.
• Work on the line during service and assist wherever needed.
• Observe guest reactions and coordinate with service staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Promote positive guest relations at all times.
• Organise food requisition and transfers.
• Handle guest complaints following instant pacification procedures.
