Roles and Responsibilities
  • Basic Receptionist work – answering & transferring calls, taking messages, arranging for courier services
  • Data Entry & Filing
  • Basic Bookkeeping with simple software
  • Liaising with staff, affiliated companies, suppliers and clients
  • Assist Assistant Accountant & Director with Accounting tasks
  • Assist Director with personal and administrative tasks
  • Check invoices received against purchase orders and payment summaries
  • Post invoices as general ledgers into in-house system (Account Payables)
  • Issue Debit & Credit Notes where relevant
  • Assist Accounts Assistant and Managing Director on accounting tasks
  • Coordinate shipbuilding projects with colleagues in Malaysia and Indonesia
  • Coordinate time charter projects and billing with client and colleagues in Indonesia and Malaysia
  • Other ad hoc duties
Requirements
  • Diploma in relevant field
  • Proficient in MS Word & Excel
  • Good Team Player
  • Good communication and research skills
  • Internet Savvy
