RESPONSIBILITIES

The Operations Support Staff is responsible to ensure that cleanliness, hygiene and housekeeping are maintained for residents' well being and to assist in basic care of the residents under the direction of Nursing Team.

Cleanliness of the environment

• Ensure tidiness and safety of the assigned area.
• Assist with housekeeping related duties.
• Clean up assigned work areas.
• Performing simple maintenance of the buildings and premises
• Report issues or any hazards to immediate supervisor.
• Keeping the environment safe, tidy, clean and hygienic

Laundry Duty

• Providing laundry services and ensure there are adequate supplies of clean clothings.
• Providing laundry services (laundry machines are available).

Basic Care

• Assist in food preparation and feeding of the residents under the supervision of nursing team
• Assist in transferring of the residents from dormitory to dining hall/activity area and vice versa under the supervision of nursing team
• Assist in maintaining the residents' personal care and hygiene under the supervision of nursing team.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADL) (i.e. companionship, showering, toileting, etc) under the supervision of nursing team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed Primary Education
• At least 2 years of related experience

OTHER INFORMATION

• Any other duties allocated by the Centre Manager or immediate supervisor
