Job summary

YHI INTERNATIONAL LIMITED in Singapore seeks a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate servicing, maintenance, and repair activities while ensuring safety and efficiency. You will assist the HOD in manpower planning and run daily toolbox meetings while enforcing safety and SWP.

You will train technicians, develop SOPs for testing and servicing, and support the Sales team with technical guidance. Outdoor work and continuous improvement initiatives are part of the role.

Qualifications

• NTC 2/3 or Nitec/Higher Nitec in Mechanical/Electronic/Electrical.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, with 2 years in supervisory role.
• Customer oriented, good organizing and time management skills.
• Good communication, leadership, coaching & problem solving skills.
• Possess initiative.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate servicing, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist the HOD in manpower planning and daily operations.
• Lead daily toolbox/pre-operation meetings and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Train, mentor, and develop technicians with on-the-job guidance.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs for product testing and servicing.
• Conduct outdoor installation, servicing, and repair work when required.
• Inspect customer-returned products for warranty claims and assist Sales with technical support.
• Perform routine safety inspections and report workplace hazards.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive productivity, efficiency, and Kaizen.
