Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a heavy manufacturing environment in Singapore. The role emphasizes electrical/electronic/mechatronics expertise and hands-on maintenance to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly.

You will plan preventive maintenance, manage spare parts inventory, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure safe, reliable plant operations. 5 days a week, 44 hours, 8am–5pm (Mon-Fri) and 8am–12pm (Sat).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in electrical/electronic/mechatronics or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with automation systems, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
• Experience in the steel manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IPCs, PLC programming, drive control, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of plant machinery and equipment.
• Develop, plan, and schedule maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability of critical components and prevent delays.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and service providers for technical support and maintenance services.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, maintenance procedures and company policies.
