Job summary

A leading logistics company in Singapore is seeking a candidate to manage logistics operations and coordinate drivers. Responsibilities include handling calls, order taking, route planning, and maintaining documentation. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in the logistics industry, is proficient in Chinese and English, and is knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel. Qualifications

• Fundamental Microsoft Office knowledge, especially in Excel.

Job description

To handle incoming calls and requirements from drivers & clients

To be responsible for order taking, route planning, and driver co-ordination

Recruit, train, and induct employees to achieve and maintain a designed staffing pattern

Driver and customer documentation and filing, update the database

To consolidate the order to maximize the use of truck and vehicle

Responsible for on-time connections from WH

Assist manager in executing daily operations to achieve the monthly and quarterly KPI and business results in the department

Assist the management in implementing new strategic initiatives as well as contribute with ideas for effectively scaling up the operations

Who You Are

Experience in the logistic industry, warehouse, trucking company, or freight forwarding industry will be a plus

Having project experience will be a plus

Proficient in typing in Chinese and English as there are different groups of clients/customers from different backgrounds

Fundamental Microsoft Office knowledge and experience, especially in Excel

Enthusiastic about logistics, technology, and e-commerce

At least 1 year of Logistic Industry experience

Able to work under pressure and peak deliverables

Able to work shift work, weekends, and Public Holidays
