Job summary

JOKIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse, cold storage, and delivery operations. You will supervise warehouse staff and drivers, ensure accurate inventory and order processing, and enforce SOPs across the team.

Role requires Mandarin/Chinese communication with drivers and warehouse personnel, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 6 days a week, with responsibilities spanning safety, reporting, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics or operations.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Able to speak and communicate in Mandarin/Chinese with drivers and warehouse personnel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and operational activities to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate recording of incoming and outgoing goods and update inventory movements.
• Supervise picking, packing, and order fulfillment to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with drivers on daily delivery schedules and ensure correct goods and delivery information.
• Provide guidance and training to staff, monitor attendance and performance, and ensure SOP adherence.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the warehouse and cold room, report hazards.
• Assist with administration and reporting of daily operations, including stock discrepancies and operational issues.

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and hands‑on Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse, cold storage and delivery activities. The Operations Supervisor will supervise warehouse personnel and drivers, ensure accurate inventory and order processing, and make sure all operational procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse and operational activities.
• Ensure all daily tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Allocate duties to warehouse personnel according to operational requirements.
• Monitor staff productivity, attendance and work performance.
• Ensure smooth coordination between warehouse, customer service, production and delivery teams.
• Report operational issues to the Operations Manager.

2. Inventory Management

• Ensure all incoming and outgoing goods are properly recorded.
• Update inventory movements accurately in the system.
• Monitor stock levels and identify shortages or discrepancies.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stocktaking.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and report findings to Management.
• Ensure goods are stored correctly according to company requirements.

3. Order & Picking Operations

• Monitor daily orders and ensure orders are picked and packed correctly.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are prepared on time.
• Check order accuracy before goods are dispatched.
• Follow up on missing, incorrect or delayed orders.
• Ensure proper handling of chilled and frozen products.

4. Driver & Delivery Coordination

• Coordinate with drivers on daily delivery schedules and assignments.
• Ensure drivers receive the correct goods and delivery information.
• Monitor delivery progress and follow up on delivery issues.
• Communicate operational instructions clearly to drivers.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin/Chinese with Chinese-speaking drivers and warehouse personnel.

5. Staff Supervision

• Supervise warehouse personnel and ensure they follow assigned duties.
• Provide guidance and training to new employees.
• Ensure staff follow company SOPs and work procedures.
• Monitor punctuality, attendance and general work performance.
• Address minor operational issues and elevate serious matters to the Operations Manager.

6. Safety & Housekeeping

• Ensure all employees follow workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain proper housekeeping within the warehouse and cold room.
• Ensure goods are stacked and stored safely.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are kept clean and safe.
• Report any safety hazards, accidents or equipment issues immediately.

7. Administration & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of daily operational activities.
• Assist with daily inventory and operational reports.
• Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods and operational problems.
• Assist the Operations Manager with manpower planning and operational matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics or operations.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience in cold storage, food distribution or FMCG is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of warehouse and inventory operations.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Able to speak and communicate in Mandarin/Chinese with drivers and warehouse personnel.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible, hands‑on and able to work independently.
• Willing to work 6 days per week.
• Able to work in a cold room environment when required.
