Job summary

TA ASIA (SG) PTE. LTD. is seeking a logistics-focused professional to handle sales enquiries, source rates, prepare quotations, and follow up with customers to convert opportunities.

You will maintain relationships with vendors, agents and customers, manage freight import/export operations and documentation, monitor delivery schedules, and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely delivery and billing accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Attend to sales enquiries, source rates, check tariff, doing cost sheets, prepare quotation & follow up with customers to convert sales opportunities
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with supporting vendors, agents and customers monitoring market pricing to ensure business sustainability
• Handle day-to-day freight import & export operations and documentations (e.g., booking, shipping instructions, BL draft, VGM, customs declaration)
• Monitor & liaise with trucker on timely delivery schedule for local distribution, milk run jobs as well as import and export shipments inland haulage
• Coordinate with customers, carriers and overseas agents to ensure smooth execution of shipment & timely delivery of documentation for clearance
• Prepare the AR invoicing, close the system job sheet & liaise with POL/POD agents & Account department on the billing update and payment matter
