Job summary

Pentagon Freight Services (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a results-driven Freight Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day Ocean, Air and Road shipments.

You will handle shipment planning (Air, LCL, FCL, Breakbulk), coordinate with internal teams, manage documentation from A to Z, and ensure timely invoicing while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and compliance.

Fresh graduates and candidates with 2–3 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.

• Freight forwarding experience is preferred, especially Ocean Freight exposure.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Ocean, Air and Road Freight operations.
• Plan shipments including Air, LCL, FCL, Breakbulk, etc.
• Arrange haulage and coordinate with vendors.
• Prepare and submit customs clearance declarations.
• Work with internal departments to coordinate shipments.
• Handle Import/Export shipments and documentation from A to Z.
• Troubleshoot and address customer complaints or issues with authorities.
• Ensure inquiries are answered promptly.
• Obtain pricing and generate complete/competitive quotations.
• Follow up with customers, overseas agents and offices to close deals.
• Collaborate with Sales on maintaining customer relationships.
• Monitor billing and ensure timely invoicing.
• Ad-hoc duties and assignments as required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• This role supports day to day Ocean, Air and Road Freight operations

• Shipment planning consists of Air, LCL, FCL, Breakbulk etc

• Haulage arrangements

• Customs clearance declaration

• Work closely with internal departments to coordinate customer’s shipments

• Handling Import and Export shipments & documentation from A to Z

• Troubleshooting and attending to customer complaints/disputes/ ministry/ official authority

• Ensure all enquirers are responded to within the shortest possible time frame

• To obtain pricing and generate complete/competitive quotation base on customer’s requirements

• Follow up with customer, overseas agents and overseas offices on quotations/ proposal and negotiate to a closure

• Collaborate with Sales and Commercial on maintenance of customers

• Monitor billing and ensure timely invoicing

• Involvement in ad-hoc duties and assignments may be required from time to time

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant Freight Forwarding Experience - Candidates with relevant freight forwarding experience, particularly those with Ocean Freight exposure will be preferred
