Job summary

Sime Darby Services Pte Ltd is seeking an Operations Assistant (Driver) in Singapore. You will manage vehicle operations end-to-end, ensuring timely servicing, accurate records, smooth deliveries and handovers with complete customer satisfaction.

You will follow up on issues, coordinate servicing and collections, and maintain daily logs. A Class 3 license, 1+ year in automotive maintenance, and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• GCE 'O' Level or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Class 3 driving license required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Minimum 1 year experience in automotive maintenance or related field.
• Basic vehicle diagnostic skills are an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage vehicle operations end-to-end, ensuring timely servicing and accurate records.
• Execute smooth deliveries and handovers with high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure repairs align with quotations and all issues are resolved before handover.
• Follow up on outstanding issues and provide timely updates to customers.
• Coordinate vehicle delivery/collection for servicing, repairs and rental activities.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks (interior/exterior) before handover.
• Identify vehicles due for servicing and coordinate schedules with the team.
• Assist customers with accident reports and report incidents promptly.
• Maintain records of daily fuel consumption and vehicle movements.

What You’ll Be Doing As an Operations Assistant (Driver)

• you’ll manage vehicle operations end-to-end, ensuring timely servicing, accurate records, smooth deliveries and collections, and high-quality handover with complete customer satisfaction.
• Ensure completed repair work aligns with approved quotations, and all reported issues are fully resolved before vehicle handover.
• Follow up on outstanding issues and provide timely updates to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate delivery and collection of vehicles for customers, servicing, repairs, and rental activities.
• Conduct daily checks on vehicle cleanliness and condition (interior and exterior) before handover.
• Proactively identify vehicles due for servicing or maintenance and coordinate schedules with the team.
• Deliver and collect vehicle for servicing or maintenance.
• Arrange and send vehicles for annual statutory inspections.
• Ensure accurate recording of vehicle movements, replacement details, and customer acknowledgements record.
• Assist customers with accident report submissions and promptly report any incidents or damages.
• Maintain accurate records of daily petrol consumption.
• Ensure all required documents are properly completed and signed prior to vehicle handover.
• Provide daily updates on task completion and work status to the team.
• Perform adhoc duties as assigned.

Who We’re Looking For

• Permanent / 12 months contract
• This is a 5.5 work week role (Saturday)
• GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent
• Possess a valid Class 3 Driving License
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Minimum 1 year experience in automotive maintenance or related field
• Basic vehicle diagnostic skills are an advantage
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
