Job Description

The role of the Technician is to carry out routine and non-routine maintenance activities. The Technician ensures the quality of maintenance work in his/her designated area and ensures that the necessary standards of housekeeping and safe work practices are maintained.

• Operations and Maintenance of the Baggage Handling System (BHS) in Singapore Changi Airport.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations while executing tasks.
• Execute quality and timely work.
• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance activities in one or more designated work areas.
• Respond quickly to faults and disruptions of the BHS system.
• Adhere to customer site rules and regulations.
• Deliver materials in need of repair to respective site.
• Return excess materials to delivery zones or the main office.
• Enter accurate and timely work order completion data.
• Contribute to modification or replacement of equipment.
• Assist with the installation of new assets.
• Assist with overall site housekeeping.
• Assist with work planning.
• Assists in breakdown recovery.
• Updates and upkeeps maintenance checklist.
• Updates and upkeeps pre-emptive maintenance checklist.
• Replacement of all equipment on request.

Qualifications

• NTC / Nitec / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
• OR similar technical certification from a reputable institute.
• Able to read electrical drawing or circuit diagram.
• Hands-on knowledge on PLC and Frequency Inverters will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in a rotating shift.
• NTC / Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering.

• Work will be in a restricted area which requires screening by the Airport Police Division.
