Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Production Support professional to provide hands-on L2/L3 support for critical business applications in a 24x7, fully on-site setting in Singapore. You will manage incidents, troubleshoot across Linux/Unix, databases and REST APIs, and coordinate with multiple teams.

Responsibilities include RCA, batch monitoring, and supporting CI/CD deployments, with comfort in a high-pressure production environment and weekend/holiday rosters.

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of hands-on Application Production Support / L2-L3 Production Support experience.
• Strong Linux/Unix production troubleshooting.
• Strong SQL and database troubleshooting.
• Hands-on P1/P2/major incident management.
• Incident Management, Problem Management and RCA experience.
• Batch processing/workload scheduling and job-failure recovery.
• REST API troubleshooting in production.
• Experience supporting distributed/microservices-based applications.
• Hands-on monitoring using Grafana, AppDynamics, Kibana/ELK or Prometheus.
• CI/CD pipeline and production deployment support.
• Shell, Python, JavaScript or Java scripting exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on L2/L3 production support for business-critical applications in a 24x7 environment.
• Lead investigation and resolution of P1/P2 and other critical production incidents within SLA timelines.
• Troubleshoot failures across Linux/Unix, databases, REST APIs, microservices and middleware.
• Perform Linux/Unix diagnostics: CPU, memory, disk, processes, services, logs.
• Perform SQL-based production issue investigations and data validation.
• Troubleshoot REST APIs, HTTP errors, and service-to-service communication issues.
• Monitor and recover failed batch workloads and scheduled jobs.
• Contribute to RCA and Problem Management for recurring incidents.
• Utilize Grafana, Kibana/ELK, AppDynamics or Prometheus for investigations.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, releases, deployments and rollback activities.
