5G-Starlink Pte. in Singapore is seeking an Onsite IT Support Technician/Field Engineer to ensure end users can perform business tasks by resolving help requests and incidents. The role requires strong hardware/software knowledge and excellent communication to assist users.

You will handle desktop/server support, backups, MS Server/Desktops, and MS Exchange, while setting up new devices and maintaining security/upgrades. Passion for tech and initiative are desired.

Formación

• 4+ years in Desktop Support or Field Services.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and OS issues.
• Experience with IT infrastructure support - DSS, Windows/Mac, Networking, Printing.
• Active Directory, Group Policies, IIS, scripting, server HW.

Responsabilidades

• Escalate IT issues to the IT manager when necessary.
• Manage backups and tape rotation.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Undertake small- to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the IT manager.
• Provide desktop and server support.
• Support and maintain MS Server/Desktops and MS Exchange.
• Set up and configure new laptops and desktops.
• Install authorised software to laptops and desktops.
• Ensure security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops.
• Antivirus installation to all desktops and laptops.
• Fault finding to laptops and desktops.
• Reporting faults and maintaining logs on servers, desktops and laptops.
• Completing internal user moves including phones.
• Patching of network and phones.
• Ensuring logs for equipment and users are maintained.
• Creating purchase requisitions for IT hardware/software.
• Ensuring licensing for all software purchased is recorded and maintained.
• Exchange server mailbox maintenance including archiving mailboxes.
• Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR requirements.
