Network Engineer Job Description

• Work in a data centre environment
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for network infrastructure
• Design, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, and Wireless deployments for enterprise clients
• Ensure optimal network performance and uptime
• Perform troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning using cloud-based analytics and reporting tools

Hands-on experience with:

1. Router and SDWAN: Cisco
2. Switches: Aruba and Cisco
3. Wireless: Aruba
4. IP Services: DNS, NAC

Preferred project experience includes migration of network infrastructure and application flow through firewalled environments.

Demonstrate expert understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols.

Possess expert design knowledge of IP-based networking architecture.

Understanding of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.

Experience configuring Aruba hardware.

Deep expertise in Infrastructure Network and Security – Routing and Switching, Wireless, Firewalls, Load Balancers.

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Network Hardware including Cisco routers, switches, and Cisco and Fortigate firewalls.

Proven experience working on large-scale projects.

Planning, coordination, and execution of network delivery projects.

Coordinate with internal/external vendors, personnel, and stakeholders regarding network delivery.

Ensure compliance with company standards, processes, and controls.

Perform documentation, knowledge transfer, and handover to the operations team.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.
