Job summary

Mind Stretcher Education PTE. LTD. is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee end-to-end management of all learning centres and office premises across multiple sites. The role covers maintenance, security systems, safety, compliance, vendor management, and space planning in a hands-on, multi-site environment.

You will lead operations with strong self-direction, ensuring premises are safe, functional, and well-maintained while balancing cost and quality through effective vendor engagements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certification preferred: CFM, FMP, or equivalent recognised by SFM or IFMA.
• Fire Safety Manager certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years facilities management experience, with at least 2 years managing multiple sites.
• Hands-on ability to perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, furniture, and general maintenance.
• Experience managing security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems).
• Prior experience in education, retail, or F&B environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities operations and maintenance across all centres and offices.
• Manage security systems, liaise with vendors and ensure uptime.
• Hands-on maintenance and vendor management for external contracts.
• Ensure safety, compliance with regulations, and risk assessments.
• Prepare and monitor the facilities budget and cost controls.
• Support space planning, fit-out projects and lease renewals.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to minimise disruption to classes.
