Job summary

Mind Stretcher is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead end-to-end management of its learning centres and offices islandwide. You will handle maintenance, security systems, safety, compliance, vendor management, and space planning in a hands-on, multi-site role.

You will work independently with strong self-direction, coordinate with Centre Principals and operations teams to minimise disruption to classes, and ensure premises meet local regulations and safety standards across all sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in FM or related field required.
• Professional certification preferred: CFM, FMP, or IFMA/SFM recognition.
• Fire Safety Manager certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years FM experience, with 2+ years across multiple sites.
• Hands-on ability for minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across all centres and offices.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for M&E systems.
• Manage security systems, including CCTV and access control.
• Source, negotiate, and manage external service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with SCDF, BCA, MOM regulations.
• Plan space, renovations, and lease renewals.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to minimise disruption to classes.
