Job summary

VAST PRO PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a reliable and hands-on Retail Assistant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our mini-mart.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, manage inventory, lead floor staff, and ensure an excellent shopping experience for our neighborhood customers. The ideal candidate possesses a strong floor presence, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in grocery or convenience store retail, with flexibility to work weekends

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years in supervisory or assistant management in mini-mart or convenience store.
• Diploma or equivalent in Retail Management or related field.
• Proficiency with POS software and inventory systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily storefront operations and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Lead, train, and schedule retail staff to meet sales targets.
• Manage stock levels and supplier communications; perform stock takes.
• Handle cash reconciliations and POS transactions accurately.
• Address customer inquiries and maintain service quality; ensure safety compliance.
