Job summary

Elevon Consulting PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Store Operations Manager to drive store performance through effective execution of policies and procedures, maximizing sales and profit, and achieving business goals.

You will lead the operations team, uphold SOPs and safety, shape merchandising and stock strategies, monitor trends, and ensure cost efficiency while maintaining high customer satisfaction and team engagement.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of managerial experience in the retail industry.
• 6 days work-week schedule, with rotating shift incl. weekends/public holidays.
• Able to carry 10-15kg products and stand for hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage store performance, ensuring sales, profit, and customer satisfaction targets are met.
• Lead and inspire the operations team to drive merchandising, service standards, and day-to-day execution.
• Uphold SOPs, HR policies, and food safety regulations, embedding discipline across departments.
• Shape business strategies to maximize sales, margins, and profitability while controlling shrinkage.
• Monitor market trends and customer behavior to anticipate changes and stay ahead of competitors.
• Translate corporate directives into clear operational practices for inventory and merchandising.
• Balance stock levels and turnover to maintain product availability and efficiency.
• Manage operating costs through productivity tools and performance measurements.
• Maintain communication with the team via daily walk-throughs, briefings, and updates.
• Coach and mentor staff to build a motivated, high-performing culture.
• Support the store with additional duties as required to ensure smooth operations.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall store operations through effective execution of operational policies and procedures to maximise sales and profit in order to achieve overall business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the store performance, ensuring sales, profit, and customer satisfaction targets are consistently met.
• Lead and inspire the operations team, driving excellence in merchandising, service standards, and day-to-day execution.
• Uphold compliance with SOPs, HR policies, and food safety regulations, embedding discipline and accountability across all departments.
• Shape business strategies and action plans that maximize sales, margins, and profitability while keeping shrinkage under control.
• Monitor market trends and customer behaviours to anticipate changes and keep the store ahead of competitors.
• Translate corporate directives into clear operational practices, ensuring merchandising and inventory strategies are implemented seamlessly.
• Balance stock levels and turnover to maintain strong product availability while optimizing efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of managerial experience in the retail industry, preferably convenience store / supermarket format.
• Comfortable to work on a 6 days' work-week schedule, with a rotating shift, including weekends and public holidays .
• Able to carry 10-15kg products, and comfortable to stand for hours.
