Job Responsibilities

As a Merchandiser, you will play a key role in analysing the category performance and underlying drivers. Your insights will support decision-making and strategic initiatives, helping to identify opportunities and suggest action plans to meet business goals and drive sales. Specifically, you will engage in the following activities:

Performance Management
  • Help create and update weekly report analyses, ensure sales & stock data accuracy and challenge KPIs with critical thinking (growth by category & zones, sell-through, week turns, rankings etc.)
  • Deep dive with relevant zones on weekly / monthly / quarterly performance
  • Implement performance improvement plans based on insights gathered
  • Contribute the categories in-depth business reviews (twice yearly) and gather learnings to drive product strategy
New Collection Sizing & Showroom Support
  • Analyse historical sales data and market trends to assist in setting benchmarks for new collections
  • Support the merchandising and design teams in determining optimal sizing and quantity for new products based on data insights
  • Work with both Global & Regional Merchandising teams during showrooms (buying documents & guidelines, VM, product strategy adjustment, orders reviews & feedbacks)
Creation and Updating of Master Documents
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation that includes performance reports, price map, launch plans, etc.
  • Regular update of master documents to reflect new product information, changes in strategy, or zone feedback
Communication with Markets
  • Assist with the preparation of newsletters and internal communication material
Ad hoc Tasks
  • Provide support for various projects or initiatives when needed (e.g. Reports automation, Buying Tool, Assortment Planning)
  • Collaborate with other HQ departments (Collection Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Planning, Marketing)
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics or Engineering
  • Strong data analytical skills and attention to details, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights
  • Have a positive attitude, a strong curiosity for learning, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and improvement
  • Good communication, team spirit and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office package (Excel and PPT mandatory); knowledge of Power BI is a plus
  • Prior experience in merchandising is a plus
