Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive to join our Membership and Events team, supporting the growth, engagement, and retention of our internal audit community.

In this role, you will play a key part in managing membership processes, assisting with event planning and execution, and fostering meaningful relationships with members, partners, and stakeholders. You will work closely with internal departments and external collaborators to ensure the delivery of high-quality experiences that align with our mission to support internal audit professionals. Key Responsibilities
  • Process new membership applications, check eligibility, liaise with applicants, ensure all documentation is complete and send welcome communications.
  • Respond to member enquiries and issues, acting as the first point of contact for individual members.
  • Coordinate individual membership renewals and reminders.
  • Maintain and update the membership database, ensure accuracy, and handle cancellations and subscription or billing updates.
  • Support certification programmes by providing information and assisting with applications.
  • Assist in delivering outreach and engagement initiatives such as events, conferences, webinars, and other member activities.
  • Coordinate event logistics such as sourcing venues, catering, and managing communications.
  • Work with the marketing and communications team to create promotional materials including social media content for both current and prospective members.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A diploma or degree in business, marketing, or events management and/or with at least 2 years of working experience.
  • Prior experience in a professional membership organisation or non-profit is a plus.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and membership databases.
  • Strong customer service orientation with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking ability.
  • Able to work independently but also as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow up to ensure tasks are completed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and able to assist with social media activities.
