Job summary

BRITISH CLUB in Singapore is seeking a proactive Reception/Member Relations professional to ensure smooth daily operations, greet members, and handle enquiries with excellence.

You will coordinate reservations, events, and member records, while building rapport and providing personalised service in a private club setting. The role requires a Diploma and at least 3 years’ relevant experience, with English fluency and willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in member relations, front office, customer service or hospitality.
• Customer-oriented with a pleasant personality and proactive approach.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; confident with members and guests.
• Experience with expatriates or private clubs/hospitality is an advantage.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Good organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth day-to-day reception operations per SOPs and service standards.
• Attend to members' enquiries with accurate information in a professional and timely manner.
• Handle member feedback and complaints; coordinate with departments for timely follow-up.
• Assist members with dining reservations, event bookings and general enquiries.
• Maintain and update members' records, including processing absence and reinstatement applications.
• Coordinate monthly Members' Connect Night and other engagement activities.
• Build rapport with members, understand needs and provide personalised service.
• Promote Club programmes, activities and events to boost participation.
• Assist with administrative duties and other member relations initiatives.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
