The British Club in Singapore is seeking a Reception/Member Relations Executive to oversee daily reception operations, uphold SOPs, and deliver high standards of service to our members. You will handle member inquiries, reservations, and events, manage member records and assist with engagement activities, while collaborating with other departments to ensure timely follow-up and personalised experiences.

• Diploma in Hospitality Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in member relations/front office/customer service/hospitality.
• Customer-oriented with proactive approach.
• Excellent English, spoken and written.
• Interpersonal skills to interact confidently with members/guests.
• Experience with expatriates or private clubs is an advantage.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

• Coordinate monthly Members' Connect Night and other engagement activities.
• Build rapport with members and provide personalised service.
• Promote Club programmes, activities and events to boost participation.
• Assist with administrative duties and other member relations initiatives.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the reception in accordance with the Club's SOPs and service standards.
• Attend to members' enquiries and provide accurate information and assistance in a professional and timely manner.
• Handle members' feedback and complaints, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
• Assist members with dining reservations, event bookings and general Club enquiries.
• Maintain and update members' records, including processing absent membership and reinstatement applications.
• Coordinate monthly Members' Connect Night and other member engagement activities.
• Build rapport with members, understand their needs and provide personalised service to enhance their Club experience.
• Promote the Club's programmes, activities and events to encourage member participation.
• Assist with administrative duties and other member relations initiatives as required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in member relations, front office, customer service or hospitality.
• Customer-oriented with a pleasant personality and a proactive approach to work.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with members and guests.
• Experience interacting with expatriates or working in a private club or hospitality environment will be an advantage.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Good organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
