The role focuses on expanding the customer base, delivering against commercial targets, and representing the business at industry events. Travel may be required to manage international accounts and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or commercial roles.
• Experience within the maritime, marine technology, industrial technology or related sectors is advantageous.
• Demonstrable success in developing new business and delivering against commercial targets.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and managing complex sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue across assigned markets.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities within the maritime sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Develop a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and manage the sales process through to completion.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers throughout the customer organisation.
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, demonstrations and commercial negotiations.
• Represent the business at relevant industry events, conferences and exhibitions.
• Monitor market developments and identify emerging commercial opportunities.
• Provide market feedback and customer insights to inform wider commercial and product strategies.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates to senior management.
