Job summary

OneOcean Group in Singapore is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead regional sales activities, build a healthy order intake, and promote our maritime training solutions. You will manage customer accounts, forecast by account, monitor market and competitors, and report region performance.

Qualifications

• Fluent English spoken and written.
• Several years’ experience in sales roles.
• Knowledge of the maritime environment and training products.
• Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
• Autonomous to fulfil tasks and open to new technology.

Responsibilities

• Based upon company strategy, create tactics and strategies for developing business to achieve sales goals.
• Ensure the company has a healthy order backlog.
• Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting including per account.
• Monitor market activity and give feedback to leadership.
• Promote OneOcean products to existing and prospect customers.
• Guide customers on steps to sign contracts.
• Upsell during customer communication sessions.
• Collect and promote customer and market feedback.
• Assist customers in finding the right contact promptly.
• Monitor tenders and RFPs; manage submissions.
• Oversee regional sales opportunities.
• Monitor CRM records and action opportunities.
• Report team performance and sales plans.
• Take part in local and international events as a participant.
