Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Fleet Operations Supervisor in Singapore to lead vessel performance and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate inspections, vetting and surveys, and oversee crew onboarding and competency development.

You will promote safety, environmental and operational procedures, monitor navigational safety and cargo operations, and work with authorities and shore teams to ensure compliant, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fleet operations experience, preferably in supervisory/managerial role.
• Certificate of competency to Class 2 Deck recognised by MPA Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vessel compliance with maritime regulations and international standards.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, vetting and regulatory surveys, including corrective actions.
• Manage crew selection, interviews, onboarding, training and competency development.
• Promote safety, environmental and operational procedures.
• Monitor navigational safety, cargo operations, pollution prevention and vessel performance.
• Support voyage planning and operational efficiency, including resource and cargo utilisation.
• Conduct safety inspections and support incident investigations and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with vessel crews, authorities, classification societies and shore teams.
