Job summary

The role involves coordinating crew activities, audits, and vessel performance improvements across the fleet. Ideal candidates hold a Class 2 Deck certificate recognised by MPA Singapore with 5+ years in fleet operations, including supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Certificate of competency to Class 2 or above (Deck) recognised by MPA Singapore.
• 5+ years of experience in fleet operations, supervisory/managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vessel compliance with maritime regulations and international standards.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, vetting and regulatory surveys, including corrective actions.
• Manage crew selection, interviews, onboarding, training and competency development.
• Promote effective implementation of safety, environmental and operational procedures.
• Monitor navigational safety, cargo operations, pollution prevention and vessel performance.
• Support voyage planning and operational efficiency, including resource and cargo utilisation.
• Conduct safety inspections and support incident investigations, audits and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with vessel crews, authorities, classification societies and shore teams for safe, compliant operations.
