Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. seeks a Lead Marine HSE professional in Singapore to oversee safety, investigations, and corrective actions across the fleet.

You will conduct vessel visits, inspections, drills, and shipboard meetings, guiding Masters and teams in HSE and navigation. Ensure DPA compliance and coordinate inspections with Class/Flag State bodies, while supporting dry-docking and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Hold a Certificate of Competency to Class 2 or above recognised by MPA Singapore.
• 8–10 years of fleet operations/tanker experience.
• Familiar with ISM, MARPOL, SOLAS and other maritime regulations.
• ISM/ISPS or ISO Lead Auditor certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead marine HSE activities, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Conduct regular vessel visits, inspections, drills, and shipboard meetings.
• Provide HSE and navigational guidance to Masters and vessel teams.

• Coordinate SIRE, Class, and Flag State inspections and follow up on findings.

• Support crew deployment, recruitment, performance management, and welfare administration.
• Monitor vessel condition and prepare inspection and operational reports.
• Participate in emergency response activities and other fleet management duties.
