Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Lead Marine HSE professional to head HSE activities aboard vessels, conduct incident investigations, and implement corrective actions across the fleet.

You will guide Masters and vessel teams on HSE and navigational matters, ensure compliance with Class and Flag State regulations, and coordinate inspections, drills, and emergency responses. The role requires a Certificate of Competency (Deck) Class 2 or above and substantial fleet operations experience.

Qualifications

• Possess Certificate of Competency to Class 2 or above (Deck) recognised by MPA Singapore.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in fleet operations/tankers.
• Familiarity with ISM, MARPOL, SOLAS and other maritime regulations.
• ISM/ISPS or ISO Lead Auditor certification is added advantage.

• Support vessel dry-docking, repairs, maintenance, requisitions, and consumables management.

Conduct regular vessel visits, inspections, drills, and shipboard meetings.

Provide HSE and navigational guidance to Masters and vessel teams.

Perform DPA responsibilities and ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, and maritime regulations.

Coordinate SIRE, Class, and Flag State inspections and follow up on findings.

Support vessel dry-docking, repairs, maintenance, requisitions, and consumables management.

Identify crew training needs and monitor deck officer competency and performance.

Support crew deployment, recruitment, performance management, and welfare administration.

Monitor vessel condition and prepare inspection and operational reports.

Participate in emergency response activities and other fleet management duties.

Requirements
