About the Role

Join a leading marine engineering company to support vessel repair, troubleshooting, and technical service operations. We are seeking a hands-on Marine Service Engineer to provide mechanical repair expertise, routine maintenance, and customer technical support for local and regional clients.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out mechanical repairs onboard vessels and in workshops.
  • Troubleshoot and dismantle components to identify mechanical defects.
  • Perform installation, training, and repairs of vessel spare parts and equipment.
  • Realign and reassemble components; test systems for proper operation.
  • Provide technical advice and training to customers on equipment features.
  • Support ship maneuvering systems, main engines, auxiliary engines, hydraulic systems, and coolers.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and ensure compliance with marine safety standards.
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments such as COP works, cooler works, and hydraulic repairs.
Requirements
  • NTC / Higher NTC in Mechanical or Marine-related discipline.
  • Prior experience in the Marine Industry preferred.
  • Familiar with marine rules, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Good communication skills; able to work independently and in teams.
  • Willing to work outdoors and perform overtime support when required.
