Job summary

Direct Search Global seeks an Operations Coordinator to support daily service operations in the Marine & Offshore sector. You will coordinate service activities, schedule technicians, liaise with customers and vendors, and ensure timely execution of service jobs and maintenance projects.

The role serves as the main coordination point between customers, service engineers, technicians, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring smooth workflows and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Business Admin, Logistics, Engineering, Marine Studies or related field.
• Experience in operations or service coordination is preferred.
• Experience in Marine & Offshore industry or shipyard operations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily service activities including maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, inspection and installation works.
• Liaise with customers, shipowners, ship managers, shipyards and offshore operators to arrange attendance and schedules.
• Coordinate deployment of service engineers and technicians to vessels, shipyards and sites.
• Prepare service quotations, work orders, service reports and job sheets.
• Monitor progress and follow up with teams and customers to ensure timely completion.
• Arrange procurement and delivery of spare parts, tools and equipment.
• Support invoicing and billing by verifying completed work and timesheets.
• Identify operational issues and resource constraints and escalate to relevant teams.
