Job summary

Direct Search Global is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day coordination of marine operations, service activities and customer requirements. You will ensure activities are planned, coordinated and completed within timelines, working with shipowners, managers, yards and offshore clients.

The role requires coordinating service engineers, arranging logs, travel, and logistics, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating marine service and project work.
• Strong communication with shipowners, managers and yards.
• Ability to manage documentation and service orders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operational activities for marine service, maintenance, repair or equipment projects.
• Liaise with shipowners, ship managers, vessels, shipyards, suppliers and internal teams.
• Coordinate service engineers and technicians for onboard attendance, inspections and commissioning.
• Arrange vessel attendance, site visits, travel, accommodation, access permits and logistics.
• Monitor vessel schedules and coordinate work around arrivals and operational needs.
• Prepare and manage service orders, quotations, purchase orders and related documentation.
• Follow up on service progress, spare parts, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate delivery and movement of marine equipment and parts to locations.
• Maintain records of service activities, job status, and customer communications.
• Provide operational updates to customers and follow up on outstanding matters.
