Job summary

Eastern Pacific Shipping PTE. LTD. seeks a proactive Marine HR professional to serve as the central contact for crew matters across an assigned fleet.

You will support Marine HR Managers in recruitment, training, and strategic workforce planning to ensure vessels are staffed with qualified, competent crews. The role involves reviewing crew requirements, coordinating with manning offices, verifying certificates, organizing rotations, and ensuring compliance with STCW, MLC, and EPS standards,

Qualifications

• Diploma in related discipline.
• 3+ years in marine HR, on ships or shore-based.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for marine HR matters for assigned vessels.
• Review crew requirements monthly and coordinate recruitment with manning offices.
• Screen and shortlist crew applications and verify certificates and background.
• Plan and monitor ship staff rotations and pooling for efficient manpower deployment.
• Coordinate with fleet and technical managers to assign vessel teams per STCW and EPS policies.
• Maintain documentation for hires and rehires for audits and planning.
