Job summary

eVantage HR Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an IT Helpdesk Engineer to provide frontline support across manufacturing sites, handling end-user computing, account access, and basic IT issues in line with policy. You will resolve incidents, assist with device setup, software installation, and security controls, while documenting solutions and contributing to continual service improvements.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in corporate IT support, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, CS.
At least 2 years of corporate IT helpdesk or end-user support in manufacturing.
Experience with Windows XP and Windows 7–11 plus Microsoft Office 365.
Knowledge of Windows endpoint support, AD, basic network troubleshooting, printers, asset handling, endpoint security, and ticket management.
Strong customer service mindset, clear communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

Service Desk & End-User Support (35%): First-level incidents and requests for account access, devices, M365, printers; resolve within SLA.
Incident Escalation & Coordination (20%): Diagnose issues, escalate, and follow up until closure.
IT Asset & Endpoint Administration (15%): Laptop/desktop setup, inventory, software installation, patching, endpoint compliance.
IT Security & Compliance Support (15%): MFA, password resets, endpoint protection, secure access practices.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement (15%): Maintain guides, logs, and issue trends for improvement.
Take an active role in workplace safety and health per policies.
