Job summary

ESW HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an IT Support Engineer to provide frontline and second-line technical assistance, ensuring smooth operation of the company’s IT infrastructure, systems and end-user devices.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, manage user accounts, support Microsoft 365, and assist with security, backups, and continuity in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of IT support, desktop support or infrastructure support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, Wi-Fi and VPN.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and IT asset management.
• Familiarity with Active Directory / Entra ID and user-access administration is an advantage.
• Knowledge of endpoint security, backup solutions or IT service management is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple technical issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, operating systems and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, software applications and peripheral devices.
• Support Microsoft 365, email, user accounts and access permissions.
• Perform user account creation, modification and termination in accordance with company procedures.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and connectivity issues.
• Manage and maintain IT hardware and software inventory.
• Monitor and follow up on IT support tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Assist with system updates, software deployment, patching and endpoint security.
• Support IT security measures including antivirus, endpoint protection and access controls.
• Assist with backup, recovery and business continuity procedures where required.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for technical issues and maintenance.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, technical solutions and IT configurations.
• Assist with IT projects, system upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective.
• Perform other IT-related duties and projects as assigned.
