Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Mixologist to manage the design and delivery of innovative beverage programs across all outlets. This role is responsible for crafting signature cocktails, developing seasonal drink menus, training bar staff, and ensuring consistency in quality and service. You will play a key role in elevating RWS beverage experience by combining creativity, technical expertise, and leadership to enhance guest satisfaction and brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Beverage Program Development
- Design and develop signature cocktails and seasonal drink menus for all outlets.
- Ensure menus are innovative, visually appealing, and aligned with the resort’s brand standards.
- Collaborate with chefs to create food and cocktail pairings that elevate the dining experience.
- Stay updated on global mixology trends, ingredients, and techniques, incorporating fresh ideas into promotions and menus.
Quality & Standards
- Ensure consistency in drink quality, taste, and presentation across all outlets.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to maintain high beverage standards.
- Uphold hygiene, safety, and alcohol compliance requirements.
- Ensure staff adherence to protocols, policies, and procedures.
Training & Team Development
- Train and mentor bar staff in mixology techniques, service standards, and product knowledge.
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve staff skillsets and elevate service delivery.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the bar team.
Inventory & Administration
- Monitor and manage beverage inventory levels, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
- Ensure accurate ordering, receiving, and storage of beverages and bar supplies.
- Track consumption trends and recommend cost control initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in mixology or bartending, with proven leadership exposure.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, ingredients, and modern cocktail techniques.
- Excellent creativity, palate, and presentation skills.
- Strong communication and training abilities.
- Certification in bartending or mixology (e.g., WSET, USBG).
