Job summary

SINDA is seeking a Programme Operations Coordinator to support STEP programmes across 27 centres. You will coordinate enrolment, curriculum delivery, tutor deployment, attendance and assessments, while leveraging AI-enabled tools for performance insights.

This role uses systems thinking and data-driven analysis to improve student outcomes and efficiency, requiring strong organisation, stakeholder collaboration, and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Degree in any discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years in programme coordination, operations, or education-related roles.
  • Experience in a non-profit education setting is a plus.
  • Good understanding of the Singapore education landscape.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work weekday evenings and occasional weekends.

Job description

You will support the effective delivery and continuous improvement of STEP programmes by coordinating operations, analysing performance data, and enabling system-level alignment across centres, tutors, and stakeholders.

This role leverages systems thinking, data-driven analysis, and AI-enabled tools to strengthen programme execution, identify risks early, and support evidence-based decision-making contributing to improved student outcomes and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of STEP programmes across 27 centres
  • Coordinate student enrolment, curriculum delivery, tutor deployment, attendance, and assessments
  • Organise centre activities and stakeholder engagement sessions, including parent briefings
  • Monitor programme performance, track KPIs and proactively address operational issues
Stakeholder and People Management
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with schools, government agencies, and other key stakeholders
  • Work closely with Centre staff (Principals, Administrators, Tutors) to ensure smooth programme delivery
  • Lead, motivate and support the team in delivering high-quality programmes
  • Coach and develop staff through regular feedback and performance reviews
  • Manage tutor planning, deployment, performance, and development
  • Monitor tutor allocation and utilisation across centres
  • Identify deployment gaps and recommend improvements based on operational needs and data insights
  • Support timely tutor performance evaluations and development initiatives
Governance & Process Improvement
  • Ensure programme operations comply with SOPs, audit requirements, and governance standards
  • Review and improve workflows to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Analyse operational challenges, identify root causes, and recommend improvements
  • Support initiatives that strengthen programme quality and service delivery
Data, Analytics & Reporting
  • Analyse programme data to monitor performance and support planning
  • Leverage data and AI-enabled tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for
  • Prepare timely reports and insights for management decision-making
  • Maintain high standards of data quality, documentation, and governance standards
Requirements:
  • Degree in any discipline, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in programme coordination, operations, or education-related roles
  • Experience in a non-profit or education setting will be an added advantage
  • Good understanding of the Singapore education landscape
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Excel dashboards, Power BI, Tableau) will be considered an added advantage
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment
  • Willingness to work weekday evenings to conduct bi-monthly centre audits as well as occasional weekends and outdoor settings, when operationally required
  • Able to participate in SINDA-wide events, when required
  • Approved additional hours will be compensated with time off or off-in lieu in accordance with internal policy
