Job summary

Pacific International Lines (Pte) Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Business Development & Sales professional to identify and pursue new opportunities in contract logistics, and to develop tailored solutions with operations and implementation teams.

You will manage client relationships, present proposals, monitor market trends, and report on KPIs to management. This role requires strategic thinking and a strong ability to drive the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in contract logistics (warehousing, fulfilment, distribution).
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline in target sectors (e.g., Fast Moving Consumer Goods, semiconductor, petro-chemical, Industrial).
• Prepare and present proposals, RFQs/RFPs, and pricing models to potential clients.
• Collaborate with operations, solutions, and implementation teams to develop tailored solutions.
• Achieve sales targets set and provide timely sales & marketing strategic information.
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact during the sales process and transition to implementation.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
• Provide input into the company's business strategy and identify growth areas.
• Generate reports, and track KPIs related to sales performance and business pipeline.
• Identify target customers as sales objectives and update sales pipelines weekly to management team.
• Ensure all business transactions meet company’s P&L objectives
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the department head
