Job Overview

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our team at LIPCO FOOD & BEVERAGES Pte Ltd and at the same time perform a secondary role of Assistant Driver tasks. This hybrid role will require you to apply technical expertise to maintain and troubleshoot equipment within the food manufacturing process, while also handling responsibilities to assist Driver to transport goods between various locations. The ideal candidate should be flexible, hands-on, and capable of balancing both technical engineering tasks and driving duties.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operator Responsibilities

1. Operating the Machine. Running daily production by operating the machine.
2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and inspections of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure smooth operation. Identify and diagnose mechanical or electrical faults, and take appropriate action to resolve issues promptly. Carry out repairs and adjustments to machinery as needed to minimize downtime. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
3. Installation & Setup: Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and systems as required. Ensure the proper setup and calibration of machines according to the food manufacturing specifications and safety standards.
4. Technical Support: Provide on-the-spot technical support to production staff for machinery-related issues. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations during maintenance work. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and time spent on repairs.
5. Equipment Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in the manufacturing process to increase efficiency and reduce downtime. Work closely with the production team to ensure machinery is operating at optimal performance.

Assistant Driver Responsibilities

1. Transportation of Goods: Safely operate company vehicles to transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies to and from suppliers, warehouses, or customers. Ensure timely deliveries and pickups, coordinating with the logistics team for route planning.
2. Vehicle Maintenance & Safety: Ensure the vehicle is regularly maintained, clean, and in good working condition. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues to the management team. Maintain accurate records of vehicle logs, fuel usage, and delivery schedules.
